Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By making a reservation, using our website, or renting a vehicle from BJ's Exotic Cars, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not proceed with a booking. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice.

2. Eligibility & Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years old to rent any vehicle.
• A valid driver's license is required and will be verified at the time of pickup.
• A clean driving record is required — we reserve the right to refuse rental based on driving history.
• A valid credit card in the renter's name is required for the security deposit.
• Renters must provide a government-issued photo ID at pickup.
• Document verification is completed on the spot at pickup — no pre-upload is required.

3. Rental Duration

• Minimum rental period is 1 day.
• Maximum rental period is 10 days per reservation.
• Extensions beyond 10 days may be available — contact us in advance for custom arrangements.
• Your rental period begins at the scheduled pickup time. Late arrivals do not extend the return time.

4. Cancellation Policy

At BJ's Exotic Cars, we know that plans can change — and we aim to keep the process simple and flexible while ensuring availability of our premium vehicles.

• Flexible Cancellation: Enjoy a full refund when you cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled pickup time.
• Within 24 Hours: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before pickup are non-refundable, as the vehicle is reserved exclusively for you.
• Last-Minute Bookings: Reservations made within 24 hours of pickup are final and non-refundable.
• Need to Reschedule? We offer a one-time reschedule at no extra cost if requested at least 24 hours in advance, subject to availability. Requests within 24 hours will be handled on a best-effort basis.
• No-Show Policy: If you do not arrive at your scheduled time without notice, the booking will be marked as a no-show and the reservation will be non-refundable.
• Deposits: Deposits help secure your vehicle and are non-refundable, unless cancelled within the 24-hour free cancellation window.
• Our Commitment: In the rare event that we need to cancel your reservation, you will receive a full refund or the option to select another available vehicle.

Your rental time starts at the scheduled pickup — please arrive on time to enjoy the full experience. Weather conditions do not qualify for cancellations, but we'll always do our best to assist if needed.

5. Security Deposit

• A refundable security deposit is required at the time of pickup and held on your credit card.
• Deposit amount varies by vehicle class and will be confirmed at booking.
• The deposit is released within 5–7 business days after the vehicle is returned in its original condition.
• Only a credit card is accepted for the security deposit — debit cards and cash are not accepted.
• Deductions may be made from the deposit for damage, excessive cleaning, fuel, or late returns.

6. Delivery & Pickup Options

• Office pickup & drop-off: Free of charge.
• Airport delivery: $80 (one way) | Delivery + pickup: $150.
• Address delivery: $60–$120 (one way) | Delivery + pickup: $120–$240.
• Delivery pricing varies by distance. An exact quote will be provided at booking.
• Delivery times are scheduled in advance — please ensure someone is present to receive the vehicle.

7. Permitted Vehicle Use

• Vehicles may only be operated within Canada and the continental United States unless prior written approval is obtained.
• Off-road driving, racing, track days, or any form of competitive driving is strictly prohibited.
• Vehicles must not be used to tow, haul, or transport any goods or trailers.
• Smoking inside any vehicle is strictly prohibited. A cleaning fee of up to $500 will be charged for violations.
• Pets are not permitted inside vehicles without prior written approval.
• The renter is responsible for all traffic violations, tolls, and parking fines incurred during the rental period.

8. Insurance

• Renters must carry their own full coverage auto insurance that extends to rental vehicles.
• Proof of insurance is required at the time of pickup.
• BJ's Exotic Cars is not responsible for damages not covered by the renter's insurance.
• Renters are fully liable for any damage to the vehicle during the rental period, including accidents, theft, and vandalism.

9. Fuel Policy

Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank. Failure to return the vehicle with a full tank will result in a refueling charge based on the current local fuel price plus a service fee.

10. Limitation of Liability

BJ's Exotic Cars shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our vehicles or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the rental. We are not responsible for personal property left in vehicles.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
